Are you ready for a road trip to the coolest antique market on the east coast?

Good!
On Thursday, Marc and I will be taking The Marshmallow down to Virginia for this year’s Lucketts Spring Market. It’s an antique market held in Northern Virginia and over 200 vendors are coming! You can find all sorts of painted furniture, antiques, architectural salvage treasures, hand-made jewelry, food, music, linens, etc.
The Lucketts Spring Market is in it’s 18th year. I’ve gone the past two years and both were wonderful experiences. This year, I’m working with Marian of Miss Mustard Seed in her booth. By booth, I mean 5,000 square foot pavilion.

I’m so excited because not only will I be working side-by-side with her (which is always an awesome time) but I’ll be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to get a booth set up, running, and broken down for an outdoor market.
I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing a market on my own but I’m still a wee bit intimidated at all of the logistics. I figured if I can get my mind wrapped around Marian’s 5,000 square foot space, then I can handle a simple 10 x 10 white-topped tent at one of my local markets!
If you would like to come down and join the fun, here are the details:

You can see Miss Mustard Seed’s space is right in front of where the sheep and goats are going to be. I’m pretty pumped about that because I have a soft spot in my heart for farm animals.
Make sure you stop in to say hello to me if you venture down this weekend. I had a sweet follower from Instagram pop in to see me at Morgantown Market this weekend, so I love meeting my readers!
I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and post about the goodies I find and the connections I make.
Hope to see you there!
