Nothing But A Writing Desk

As I'm watching the computer cursor blink on my blog post template, my mind is totally and completely blank. Usually I have a story behind a piece that I work on, or some sort of tie in with life in general, but right now, all I have are crickets.

Chirp. Chirp.

And a writing desk.

It's been a long week and I think my body is telling me that it's time to relax. So while I go and do that, enjoy photos of this cutie pie mahogany ladies' writing desk I finished in Duck Egg Chalk Paint® and white wax.

I had a fun time staging this one! The bottles were so pretty and soft and the wooden coral painting gives some rustic contrast.

Those cubbies were a bit of a challenge to paint, however painted they are!

Thus says Yoda.

Vintage porcelain knobs give a much needed update while still staying soft.

And I especially enjoyed how white wax looks against the Duck Egg Chalk Paint®.

If this writing desk was mine, these are probably the items I'd have stored inside.
